What you wear can say a lot about your company. It’s a major part of your first impression, both in person and on video.
If you haven’t already noticed, I wear the same shirt every single friday tip video for consistency. I promise I’ve washed it. The goal is to get people familiar with the format of our videos, much like how the intro is the same every week.
However, keep in mind that different industries have different goals in how to present themselves. For example, people in finance-related industries usually dress with high-end clothing, so they can come across reputable and successful. However, people in marketing will often dress more trendy and comfortable, showing that they’re aware of current trends in the marketplace.
Bottom line. Clothing should be an extension of your brand, and how you want people to view your company.
